WHAT WOULD YOU DO IF YOU KNEW

What if you knew the future, what would you do ?

the first thing that comes to mind is excitement, and the power of information. But its easier said then done, you see the problem with knowing stuff isn’t all that appealing. you must all think I'm crazy to say this. well i do have a good reason for stating this. knowing he future but not having the power to change it is a far worse scenario then being completely ignorant of what is to come.

like that saying :

“What you don’t know cant hurt you”

i belonged to that school of though where it was necessary to know things. any kind of information. i use to think if i could some how quantify things like feelings ,relations etc into logical reason then life would become easier for me. Man was i wrong. Finding reasons for everything still doesn't bring one satisfaction. Similarly Knowing the truth or the future for that matter also doesn't really help the situation. Because things are destined to be the way they are whether your willfully participating or unwillingly participating in the events of your life. Here by willingly i meant some one who has no knowledge of the future and is going about his life, business as usual. while unwilling is that person who has knowledge of the future. events will always happen the way they are suppose to happen. and the knowledge of these near future events is irrelevant. No one can ever control their life nor can they think or believe that they are free to live their life as they please. there is always some sort of restriction. we all have to live by certain rules and set norms. which we must not, can not and probably never be able to change alter or completely eliminate. Knowledge is power they say. but simply this knowledge without the free will to do as one pleases is more like a form of self inflicted mental abuse. the future is in itself a very tricky concept. in our efforts of making a bright future for ourselves we tend to over look the small things that matter most in life. While people who don't work to the future tend to miss out on the bigger picture.
