A Grey World We Live In. There is something horribly wrong with this world.

I just cant wrap my brain around living in this grey area. I’m still struggling to understand this world we live in where value of life is cheaper than death, where the dead are honoured and respected but the living are tortured and tormented. where the rich set the rules and the poor must follow. where the privileged classes live a life of luxury,carefree and the underprivileged are humiliated and looked at with disdain. where the human suffering is common. where people who are looked up to are selfish, while selfless people are called stupid and exploited. where the selfish are respected and the altruistic are disrespected. where the evil is glorified while acts of kindness are just ignored. where truth and honesty are shunned whereas lying and cheating is rewarded. it truly is a funny world we live in where children are taught ethics in class but are not expected to actually practice them in real life. This grey area makes the world seem to be working upside down. where nothing makes sense. where the ends are more important than the means. where no one will ask u how many people u killed to set up your empire or how many people did u scam/defraud to get rich. where material positions are more important than people. where the value of a person is established with the amount of material wealth he possess. where the character of the person is overlooked because he is powerful. where power and money mean everything. virtue and kindness don’t get you anywhere, where love is only defined in terms of lust. where beauty is only skin deep where we have all these morals and ethics that we talk about in drawing room conversations and vehement advocate but conveniently ignore in our own day to day dealings. Yes this world is truly a grey world where colours are used to express feelings but no one wants to take the time to comfort anyone. where people maybe given a right to express themselves so long as their views don’t contradict our own.  For when your views challenge my beliefs i will stop listening to you and ur freedom of speech will suddenly be categorized as hate speech.
